Taking a PADI Internship with us really does mean that you’ll be spending on average a day a week underwater whilst learning and becoming a PADI Professional!

For 3 months you’ll be learning every aspect of the Dive Industry from the acknowledged PADI Professionals in Vietnam. The Rainbow Academy, a subsidiary of Rainbow Divers- Vietnam, was established in 2004 in response to the high demand from individuals (both divers & non-divers) throughout the world who recognised the need for a focused approach to assist them with a change from their existing life-style to that of a professional dive educator.

So, whether you are looking for a short ‘life break’, an opportunity to travel the world with a professional qualification, or a permanent position in the dive industry, The Rainbow Academy can help.

Rainbow Divers helped established PADI in Vietnam in the mid ‘90s and are now synonymous with professional diving and training throughout the country with PADI 5 Star centres in Nha Trang, Hoi An, Whale Island & Phu Quoc.

They have the only 2 PADI Course Directors at the only PADI CDC, 5 Star IDCs & National Geographic Centres in Vietnam.

We have successfully trained over 500 PADI Divemasters and close to 1000 PADI Instructors.

We don’t certify a high quantity of DMs & Instructors, just high quality! YOU could be one of them.

Nha Trang is the diving capital of Vietnam. It’s a busy seaside city with 7 kms of sandy beach bordering gorgious turquoise blue waters. All Open Water training is conducted around the islands in the Marine Park wich is home to over 350 species of hard corals.
Confined water training is held in our 5m deep pool & Knowledge Developpement sessions are held in our hi-tec, air-con classrooms. Best of all, our HQ in Nha Trang also offers a full Bar & Restaurant facility with an extensive western menu, Imported Beers & Sushi Bar!

You’ll be trained by and diving with some of the top PADI Instructors & divers in SE Asia and will also have the opportunity to dive & train at other Rainbow Centres throughout Vietnam and at our sister company in Thailand.

Interns are eligible to earn commissions and most earn enough to recover all their costs during their time with us.

We do offer a limited number of free Internships each month. These are usually awarded to applicants with several useful languages or other exceptional attributes. You will be required to have basic dive equipment & all PADI materials.

Currently we are looking for English speaking divemasters to support and expand our growing Japanese + Russian divers + students. Position also suitable for DM Trainees or new OWSIs looking for 'guided' teaching experiences.

Personal Con-Ed upto IDC and IDC Staff part of package. Long term positions available to suitable enthusiastic candidates.
