Sea Bees Diving Khao Lak is recruiting now staff to complete the team for the season 2010 / 2011 and has vacancies for:

- Front Office staff member, head office – NON DIVING POSITION – Sales Office staff member in our partner hotels – NON DIVING POSITION – PR & Sales Hotel Pools – Instructors

Our Dive Center operates with two day trip boats and one liveaboard. In addition to our main office and the attached Palm Garden Resort we operate with own sales offices in leading 4 * & 5* hotels. With our boat Stingray we definitely have the fastest and most comfortable day trip boat going to the Similan Islands which rank among the top ten dive sites worldwide.

To complete our successful team, we are looking for reliable and responsible additional staff members to start in October or November; ideal age between 25 years and 45 years. To single individuals and non – smokers is given preference.

Front Office staff essential qualifications are:

Absolutely fluent in German and English, other languages welcome
Outstanding administrative and communication skills
Good computer skills
Proven record of experience in a office / sales position, possibly in a Dive Centre
Flexible, used to work under pressure, service oriented
Willing to work in a rotating shift with your colleagues
Have a clean & tidy outfit, no visible piercing, no excessive tattoos
Be mature in mind
Willing to fit in a highly professional and harmonic team

Even though this is a non – diving position, you should be a diver and have understanding about the complexity of the work in a modern, customer oriented Dive Centre operating in the upper market.

Sales Office staff essential qualifications are:

Minimum Divemaster in teaching status as you will conduct free try dives in the pools of our sole partner hotels
Absolutely fluent in German and English, other languages welcome
Outstanding administrative and communication skills
Good computer skills
Proven record of experience in a office / sales position, possibly in a Dive Center
Flexible, used to work under pressure, service oriented
Be mature in mind
Have a clean & tidy outfit, no visible piercing, no excessive tattoos
Willing to fit in a highly professional and harmonic team
Willing to use your own transportation to go to work ( moped )

PR & Sales Hotel Pools staff essential qualifications are:

Minimum Divemaster in teaching status, as you will conduct free try dives in the pools of our sole partner hotels
Absolutely fluent in German and English, other languages welcome
Outstanding communication and sales skills
Flexible, used to work under pressure, service oriented
Have a clean & tidy outfit, no visible piercing, no excessive tattoos
Be mature in mind
Your income is depending on your sales skills, a guaranteed fix salary is granted
Willing to work as dive or snorkel guide or on the office on in – between days

Instructors’ essential qualifications are:

Absolutely fluent in German and English, other languages welcome
Min. PADI MSDT or higher, must have Nitrox specialty, teaching status
Willing to do a crossover to SSI at Dive Center’s cost price is a MUST
Proven record of at least one-year experience of working in a Dive Centre
Excellent communication skills and customer oriented attitude on the boat & under water
Willing to guide already certified divers and teach according to standards, also on our liveaboard
Highest safety awareness
Have a clean & tidy outfit, no visible piercing, no excessive tattoos
Be mature in mind
Willing to fit in a highly professional and harmonic team
Expect long days and hard work, but also a lot of fun
All Instructors are expected to be willing to work occasionally as snorkel guide and to fulfill office duties

We offer a seasonal engagement until the end of April / Mid of May 2010 in our premium Dive Center. Work is usually six days a week, though it may happen in peak season that the “day off” is shifted to a calmer period. Monthly salary paid on time. We are sorry not to provide accommodation and not paying travel allowances; food and drinks in our Palm Garden Restaurant are available for discounted prices.
