We are looking for experienced Chinese speaking Diving Instructors for an immediate positions within our premier Dive and Water sports operation based in the top 5 Star luxury resort in the Maldives.

Reporting to the Base Leader, the successful applicant will have a proven track record as an Instructor and Guide. You will be a hard worker, highly motivated and adaptable with impeccable customer service skills, plenty of initiative and the ability to successfully work in a team.

Main duties include providing enjoyable, informative and safe guidance/instruction during in-water activities including scuba diving and snorkeling.

A flexible approach to work is essential as guest relations, helping with excursions and boat handling, retail sales, equipment maintenance and general dive base housekeeping will also be part of the daily routine.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS • PADI OWSI license or higher • Fluency in Chinese as well as conversant in English • Current Diving Insurance • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. • Previous work experience in the Maldives would be an advantage but not essential.

We offer an eleven month contract, on site full board, twin-share a/c accommodation and a competitive remuneration package. All visa expenses will be paid by the Company. We are currently looking for a Divemaster to assist our centre’s instructor for this summer season. You should speak fluent English (Other languages are a plus), ideally have a boat license and be available to start soon through till the end of the season (normally september time).

The dive centre is a small operation on the Greek island of Ios. Most guests to the centre are qualified divers however we do offer a full range of courses so your primary role would be guiding certified divers, helping in day to day operations and assisting the instructor as required.

Ios is easily reached from Athens (4 hours by ferry) or via Santorini (45mins by ferry). The island is popular with backpackers and families from all over the globe (Mainly Australian, American, Canadian, Norweigan etc).
