Diving Overview for S Jacob Wreck

S Jacob Wreck has a maximum diving depth of around 60m / 200ft and is suitable for advanced divers. The average visibility is 10-20 metres and access to the dive site is by boat.

The S'Jacob was a Dutch merchant ship that was sunk by the Japanese during an air raid in WWII.

The wreck lies upright on a slope starting at 45m and descending to 60m. Large schools of batfish and pelagics are common, including reef sharks. Look out for the unusual black coral trees that grow from the deck.

Strong currents and poor visibility sometimes prevent access to this dive.
