Diving Overview for Murion Islands
Murion Islands has a maximum diving depth of around 20 m / 65 ft and is suitable for all divers. The average visibility is 20+ metres and access to the dive site is by boat.

Ningaloo Marine Park is home to over 200 species of hard coral, 50 species of soft coral and over 500 different species of fish. This fringing reef stretches over 200km and reaches within 100m of the shore making this an ideal site for snorkellers and divers.
The Ningaloo Reef is one of the best places in Australia to see Whale Sharks, manta rays, dolphins, humpback whales, dugongs and turtles. Whale sharks mass every year from April - July, humpbacks between June - November, the spectacular mass coral spawning happens in March-April.
The Murion Islands lie about 10nm northeast of Exmouth, approximately 45 mins by boat. These islands are surrounded by rocky ledges, walls, swim-throughs and coral gardens. Maximum depth is just 20m so the Murion Islands are ideal for all divers. Marine life includes tropical fish, clams, shrimps, morays, potato cod, turtles and nurse sharks. Manta rays often visit these island in November - December, this is also the best time of year to see turtles mating in the shallow water and then nesting on the Islands.
These beautiful dive sites offer great diving for every diver. Whilst on the boat look out for dolphins, turtles, mantas, dudgongs,humpbacks and even whale sharks! These pristine peaceful waters have so much to offer -they really are addictive!
