Diving Overview for Papua Passage

Papua Passage has a maximum diving depth of around 20 m / 65.6 ft and is suitable for all divers. The average visibility is 10-20 metres and access to the dive site is by boat.

A beautiful dive site on the south coast of Rarotonga. This passage is a natural channel in the reef with a sandy bottom and is the perfect place to find eagle rays and turtles.

The turtles are usually located further into the passage which can sometimes be a hard swim due to currents but makes for a beautiful drift on the way out.
