Volkner Rocks Marine Reserve has a maximum diving depth of around and is suitable for all divers. The average visibility is 10-20 metres and access to the dive site is by boat.

Volkner Rocks sits 5km northwest of White Island and is one of the must see dive sites in New Zealand.
Divers regularly see large kingfish, tuna and sharks swimming above the bright red diadema sea urchines and fire brick seastars as well as banded coral shrimps and spanish lobsters.
