Diving Overview for St Lucia
St Lucia is an emerald in the Caribbean with its lush green mountains, luxurious reputation and sparkling waters.
St Lucia has some of the Caribbean's top diving sites. Anse Chastanet near Soufriere is a designated marine park with colourful reef, an array of corals, sponges and tropical fish. Just to the south of Soufriere beneath the mountains are some fabulous snorkelling and diving opportunities and slightly further south is the Keyhole Pinnacles; these four underwater mountains are covered with colourful corals and make some stunning and dramatic underwater photographs! There are several wrecks, including the Lesleen, that are well worth a dive.
You can diver al year round, the waters are warm and the air temperature ranges from 30ËšC in summer to an equally lovely 27ËšC in winter! Note that hurricane season falls between June and October.
