Dive Site Overview for Alberta

Alberta in Western Canada is a landlocked province about the same size as Texas. Despite being landlocked, Alberta has some fabulous and diverse diving opportunities from beautiful lakes to extreme ice diving.

Lake Minnewanka and Jack Lake in Banff are popular choices where you can dive the old town site and the old dam. During winter, you can dive below the ice at Winnewanka and the visibility is amazing (though cold)!

Japser has several good lakes with clear waters and even a small wreck to explore called the Habica.
