More Information
Vista Point is a great dive for any level of diver with a gradual drop off containing platforms for dive skill training. If you continue to swim further from the shore, you can easily get to a depth of 25m / 85ft with ease. There are a number of underwater trees and other hazards in the area, so be cautious on your first dives.
Access to Vista Point is limited, with only a dirt road to get to the shoreline. Check before driving down the track as there is only enough room for one car at a time.
There are a lot of bass in the shallower water with giant catfish also swimming around. Just north of the point, there is a wall that was once part of the paved boat ramp. If you go down the wall at Vista Point and keep heading west you will run into a track that appears to be some sort of I-beem and runs North to South. If you start your dive from the table and head west to NW you'll find it.
