Diving Overview for Ohio

The state of Ohio sits in the Midwest and has some great scuba diving locations including Lake Erie. Ohio is home to a large number of historic shipwrecks that can be explored by divers all year round.

Ohio is perfect for new divers and has several world class diving facilities including Gilboa Quarry, a 14+ acre limestone quarry, located in Northwest Ohio containing large training platforms and sunken treasures including a Grumman airplane and Sikorsky helicopter. There is something worth exploring for all recreational and tek divers at Gilboa Quarry.

There are several diving parks including White Star Park which included several small cars and boats and swim-throughs to explore as well as submerged quarries throughout Ohio that make interesting fresh water dives and a great place for certification training.
