Scuba diving in Texas provides many opportunities, both inland and in the Gulf of Mexico. The lakes in Texas are crystal clear and offer amazing diving options as well as great bio-diversity. There are a variety of natural springs, clear rivers and lakes to dive in this wonderfully vibrant state. 

There are a large number of shipwrecks situated in the Gulf of Mexico that sit inside the state of Texas, making it a prime location for any wreck diving enthusiast.

Be cautious during the Tornado season (April - June) as adverse weather can cause diving conditions to deteriorate dramatically.
