Uruguay is a land of rolling hills with over 600 km of South Atlantic Coastline.

Punta Este is Uruguay’s premier beach resort, super busy between December and February. From here you can dive the caves at Punta Ballena and Gorriti Island, search for ‘lucky stones’ around Ballena and feed the sharks at Lobos Island. Dive into a submerged gold mine near Minas or explore Nelson’s favorite ship the HMS Agamemon –a 64 gun Navy vessel, located in Maldonado Bay.

Diving remains a relatively new sport around Uruguay, there are several dive centres and dive ships along the coast, especially near Punta Este that offer excursions.
